Costa Rica - Termico Process
Costa Rica - Termico Process
A very unique and delicious termico process coffee from Costa Rica. It has a juicy mouthfeel with notes of Red apple, White Peach, Brown Sugar and Nutmeg.
Termico Process: Beans are picked when the cherries are at their ripest, semi-washed to leave the mucilage on them (similar to a honey process), and then exposed to heat. The heat begins to breakdown the sugars in the coffee cherries, partially caramelizing them. This inventive process gives the coffee an exceptionally sweet and fruit-forward flavor as well as a round and balanced cup.
